Follonica

Follonica ist wahrscheinlich keine Stadt die Euch auf den ersten Blick beeindruckt. Als ehemaliges Fischerdorf und zu Beginn des 19.Jhd. als Standort der Erzverarbeitung wurde sie für den Tourismus auch ziemlich spät erst entdeckt. Das ist vielleicht aber auch der Vorteil. Follonica ist einfach eine "normale" italienische Stadt. Sie bietet alles was man von einem modernen Badeort erwartet, ist aber auch zur Hochsaison nicht überfüllt und Und auf den zweiten Blick entdeckt man bestimmt auch so manches nettes Plätzchen.

Follonica is probably not a city which makes an impression on the first view. As a former fisher village and at the beginning of the 19th century a place of a small iron industry it was discovered for tourism very late. This is probably also its advantage. Follonica is just a "normal" italian city. It is offering everything a modern holiday resort should, but even in summer it is not too crowded with tourists. And taking a second view onto it, you surely will find some nice parts you will like.
